Coinjoe2006
Wow, I have never seen anything like that! Maybe it was made for a silver proof or something and it found its way into circulation?
Scottishmoney
More likely plated with silver or nickel as a novelty. I have even seen chrome plated examples for that extra shine.
Art
What the heckfoo is up with that title? Do we have an angry sockpuppet on board?
BigCanadianM
Nah, this sockpuppet is just agitated at not being able to find anything on the internet about this coin. First I had the silver-proof thing theory, but its most likely the novelty theory. Even though the nicks in the rim don't show copper underneath...unless it was plated after the nicks... But hey, 5 cents at the coin store, why not? Anyways, I still need HELP! Wow! This coin is the 20th most popular coin on omni!
