I'd say the lower relief of today's coins is also a huge drawback.

PS. You should hold a contest to see who can first guess all the mint marks and dates of the coins in both boxes.

Ditto. You just need to compare a 1960's Kennedy to one from the 2000's to see how much a lowered relief can take away from a good coin design.

>>>GREATEST IDEA EVER<<<

We should get them to scrap the Presidents and instead, to try to reintroduce interest with dollar coins - if that indeed is what they want - go back to the older dollars in design, if not in size or composition.

:ninja:;);););)

Thank you, thank you... :D

EDIT: At least, I would be ecstatic to see a miniturized Peace or Morgan dollar in my future change.

Hmm... i liked the idea up til your edit. I got a bad image of a SBA size Peace. Not sure what I think about that :ninja: I love Peace $'s more than anything, trust me.

I'd rather see the Seated Lib design come back.

I only added mini-sized because I doubted the government would try to reintroduce those cartwheels if they really wanted to get interest in dollars to grow. I would love new, "back-in-the-day" sized dollars! But will non-collectors feel the same? :ninja:
