Andre,what are the 1858 & 1859 brass large 1c. coins selling for these days? The 1859 brass 1c. has NEVER been listed in Krause.I'm not even sure if it is listed in Charlton.

In the Charlton the 1859N9 Brass is listed as follow:

Province of Canada 1858 & 1859

 

Canada 1876-1920

 

Newfoundland 1865-1936

 

Prince Edward Island 1871

 

New Brunswick 1861-1864

 

Nova Scotia 1861-1864

 

There are a number of Canada Bank Tokens issued in the one cent denomination but I don't have the book on them available right now.

Love the large cents. Just recently obtained a au 1858 to complete my set. I gave up a lot of nice WL halves to get the coin but after seeing it I decided it was well worth it.
