Mark Stilson
Just wondering does anyone know of a good close up picture of the 1888/7 overdate? I have a 1888 and the last 8 does appear to be misshaped as compared to the first 8. It may just be damage to the date area though. (Kind of think it is, but...) Art
Here's one on Rick Snow's site. It's a great pic of the overdate. http://www.indiancent.com/market/88s163bnp.jpg
Mark Stilson
Thanks, it was a long shot. Just looks like damage on the date. Been going thru some of my old found in "pocket change" coins I've had. I decided to go ahead and drop them on omnicoin. All the "I'm too lazy to take out of 2x2 flips" have been either give aways or found in change during the last 30 years. I'm going to drop some more stuff in later.
