Looks like someone was either marking it, or doing a scratch test to confirm that it was not a silver-plated copy.
-
If you can post a photo someone here should be able to help :-)

Neat setup - thanks for sharing!
-
One the second photo neat the bottom it looks like there might be a casting seam?
-
Neat piece - definitely a bit unusual for a piece to have that strong of an impression.

Greek, yes. Alexander, no.

Can't really say much from that picture other than that the fields look a bit too smooth and clean.
-
The first two would have some collectible value, the last one would be close to BV.
The three would not be too difficult to put together.

Very interesting - thank you for sharing!

First one is Roman, second is Byzantine.
Style for both is off - I suspect both are modern copies made for sale to tourists. (quite common in the Mid-East as many countries forbid or strongly control the export of originals, and lots of tourists from the West with money to spend on souvenirs)

Looks fine to me. A very nice piece, but IMO not UNC.

I'll go with either of the two responses :-)

Best wishes to you two - may she recover soon and well.

If you're near a place with an XRF machine, that'd be the quickest way of finding out what it is without potentially damaging it. A lot of places offer testing with them for a modest fee.

Hello and welcome!
The piece on the left is a fantasy / counterfeit piece.
The middle and one on the right would require further evaluation as to whether or not they're genuine, but both types generally speaking are quite common.

That last piece really looked like an Roty to me - especially the font. (of course, throwing in a sowing figure doesn't hurt - lol)
