I like modern notes so much I totally forgot about the older ones, focusing on the current Joh. school of design.

That's a beautiful note, akdrv has it in the PNC.

Errgg... in my wholesale lists it's 50 for $5.00

But the Krause says $0.40 for UNC.

Well, they were up for a while. I'll repost some of them. Mostly modern Dutch notes that went to the red X state.

That's a uniface note right? So many of the lower denominations were printed (1 and 2 Krone) that it was deemed unfit to even waste the ink on the reverse.

The higher denoms were given a printing on the reverse, though.

Hey looks UNC to me, can't tell from the photo. Take some pics of any flaws it might have.

I've seen that note before, it's not German. It's Austrian.

I think the face is doctored to look "angry" but I know they shaved the cat like that, I've seen pics.

It sucks when that happens. I like the IBNS de la Rue notes too. A while ago I was in a promo notes phase, test notes things like that.

They have created just about all of my favorite modern banknotes!!! For Dutch countries...

They are usually called upon to create banknotes with a very special, modern looking design, while keeping the look of a banknote of course. The printing company has also been employed to print Euro notes for five countries.

I'll start it off with this Aruban 500 Florin.

These designs were created mainly to appeal to tourists... but I think they are geniunly beautiful. I had a 500 briefly, I had to have it ordered.

Intereseting thing about HK dollars is that every big bank can issue its own notes. I've seen three different varieties of $500 issued by three different banks when I was there last month.

That's right... my very favorite is the HK Chartered Bank. I'm sure this has its ups and downs.

Woww, perfecto. Give me a Personal Message whenever you have chosen a banknote/banknotes with your intangible $5 gift certificate.
