This is one of the notes I had in my stock as thus:
New Zealand
P-176 10 Dollars, ND (1990) commem. in folder......22.00
I wasn't paying enough attention to notice a few things, the folder is a bit scuffed and I had to adjust the banknote (but without breaking the seal thank god) to get rid of ripples. So this beautiful commemorative note is in CU condition, well-preserved by its original sealed folder, just with a few minor scuffs mostly on the reverse from its 15 years of existence.
I couldn't get my camera's flash to not reflect off the plastic but it is really very clear!
Instead of $22.00 I'm going to start this off at $9.50, ends Saturday.
I'd like this auction to have bids until the very end so just $0.50 increments please.
Happy bidding on this beautiful commem!

Besides that I think it was $300-something.

What is the highest you have ever paid for one single coin? (Pics are welcome).
My highest coin came with a $470 pricetag, and it's not even going to be mine. It's a GIFT!!!
I think my 2nd highest is around $140.
Doesn't matter if it cost $.05 or $5,000. I'm just curious to see what people's limits are. Mine used to be $100 dollars and that didn't happen very often. In reality it was the $20-$30 range. Now I've broken all my limits more than once.
The highest I have ever paid for a single note is $1,000, for a Greenland 100K note in crisp UNC, but this was only to sell.
The highest I have ever paid for a note for my collection is $950 for a Swiss 1,000 Franken:

I won't complain, but I do want the auction to last the whole four days.
Let's keep it at $0.05 from now on.

I don't have the proper books (values for MPCs in the Krause can be erroneous) but I'd put the value at $10-12. Very nice note!
-
At least that's what I got.

I'm still getting errors for a few things.

Hey those notes are
I don't have my books but I'm pretty sure the Bahamian note books at at least $3.00 in VF...
-
Just wondering what was up.

Oh, are the Bahamas notes really 1968 or do they all say that?
They're "Law" 1968, but could have been printed as late as 1973.

Cool! When can we see the pics?

Series 2003 $1 US.

A bit of a stretch, but the serial no. has three 81s in a row.

Ends in four days.

No way!!!
My wallet currently has $12 in it, $7 of that is $1 bills, if those were coins it would be a pain.

Nice pictures!!!

I actually like the commem more.

Guess I'm with the crowd too, but I do like Unk's coin.
