  1. I don't have any money in Paypal currently, and I'm not an avid collector, however I do like neat coins to show my friends. Knowing that, do I buy or is there similar coins with a lower price redily available? I really just want a yes or no to go by, since I'm not that educated in ancient coins.
  2. I'm just curious as to know if anyone has ever seen anything like this. http://cgi.ebay.com/dont-know-what-is-it-F...=item3efea2876f I'm not interested in buying it, just really curious. Thanks in advance.
  3. I got one of them too. No clue. XD
  4. 1941 nickel no mint mark. Silver?

    Toned Coins

In laymans terms, Can sombody explain the process of toning, and when it starts and stops (ie, if I have a very slighty toned coin will it continue to tone?)
  6. Oh, those things. I've found a bunch of stuff in them before. Havn't checked them since I was a kid.
  7. Welcome to the forums. I'm about to send you a PM about this thing I found in my yard a while back... Could be an indian whatchamacallit. Lol.
  8. Got a couple of those at a chinese buffet in change 3 weeks ago. I win? P.S. If i knew it was a cool find i wouldn't have spent it on a hershey cookies and cream bar. (I must say it tasted amazing )
  9. If i were to invest in a detector, what kind should i get (a link would be nice), and also where should i look for nifty thins like those? (I live in Sarasota, FL)
  10. Didn't read most posts, but thought i'd add that that was the main article on the CNN homepage yesterday so it is true that there is concern. Didn't read the article though.
