Well, South Florida is almost like the US . Why not have him pick one up for you. They're available just about everywhere.
I am sure that is the case. However, my father is not a natural born shopper. He is not good at finding things. I gave him a small list of things that I want him to bring: the list has accompanying images that I copied and pasted from the net to assist him.

Going through a cash drawer at work, several Philly nickels from the 1940's and 50's, nothing too special, and a couple of common 1940's wheats, all of which will be unleashed on an unsuspecting customer.
Hmmm, I must look at what I have and what I do not, and then let you know!

...--- Seriously, if you have friends coming to the US this summer, have them bring one back for you. It's a great improvement over the previous books.
No, but my father is coming to Finland from South Florida.

Just an update: I expect to receive these on Tuesday.

Absolutely the best Red Book in the last 30 years. Lots of new information and better photos of the coins. I like the improvements 100%!
Äääähhhh, do not tell me this! I just finally got around to buying my first redbook earlier this year and it was a 2005!

Received a simple yet great trade with Art. And despite there being no deadline for the trade, he insisted on sending a "late" bonus which was much too generous!!
-
A Sac from a trade and an over-generous bonus for being "late"!

Congratulations to all the winners! And even a bigger congratulations to Mircea that the BIG and HEAVY catalogue made it there!

I have a 20 kroner note from when I was in Sweden in 1995, but I think that I read on the central bank's website that it is no longer legal tender. At least it's still crisp unc!
It would depend which 20 kronor note you have. Here is the Bank of Sweden's link. Here is a large view of the soon to be invalid note and a large view of the one that will remain legal tender.

Yesterday, I got a package of some Finn coins from a trade and today a Finn commem that I won on auction.

henare and crystalk64, would you please PM me with your postal addresses please. After I receive them, I will PM everyone with exact price and payment options.

I had never heard of the man, i even had to ask what he was famous for. Oh dear... i'm so out of touch these days.
Why not Tiger Woods though? Someone i've actually heard of? ...
Because Tiger Woods has yet to break Nicklaus' record of having the most Major Tournament wins.
For me there is perhaps no name more famous in golf, with possibly the exception of Arnold Palmer.

I guess it depends on the layout of your keyboard. For me I get the £ symbol by holding down the "AltGr" key to the right of the space bar and then press number "3" key.
For the € symbol, same thing except instead of the "3" one can use either the "5" key or then the "E" key.

Closed. I will report back here after the weekend.

That Florin is a beaut, but I love the Lego buildings on that Thaler even more.
-
The gothic florin was one of my favorite coins until I came across the Hungarian 2 pengo. It has become one of my favorite coins, and Banavechi has a beautiful specimen!
-
It may be cheezy, but I went with the Swiss.

Do not know any dealers, but it you can make it to Finland next month (I will be there ), you might see one at the Finnish Numismatic Society's quarterly auction.
Since it is not a super-hyped auction, one can often get some good finds at decent prices. This one here went for €1200:
