  1. William III silver sixpence, 1697. England/Great Britain/United Kingdom.
  2. This is such a fun thread, let's keep it going! 1697, 1690, 1681 and 1667 waiting in the wings!
  3. 1721. Spanish 2 Reales. Bad Photography.
  4. 1732? Got it. Sorry I've been away so long, been moving house. Dutch 1 Duit piece, Gelderland issue.
  5. I'm happy to stick with the Netherlands, as they're the country providing me with the right dates for this 'game' ^^ I've got 1733, 1732, & 1729 in front of me, although they're all dark coppers and not shiney gold. I've got a Spanish 1721 piece that's silver.. I've really had a lot of fun with this thread. I hope we keep going for a long time to come!
  6. I'm afraid I haven't got anything until 1721.
  7. 2 1/2 shillings coin from Biafra, when it tried to separate from Nigeria. These coins are hard to find, although notes seem to be plentiful. I hunted this particular denomination down for the leopard depicted on it. I collect coins with cats on them. I'm quite proud of this newest addition!
  8. I was at the Grocery store on Saturday, and peeked into the reject slot on my way past. Usually it's empty and disappointing, but this time I got to pounce! A game token, a 2006D penny, a 2007D penny, a clad dime, a 1986 Irish penny, and a 1945S silver quarter! I'm happiest about the quarter, obviously.
  9. Another 1763 coin, before it's too late to post it.
  10. 1784, eh? It isn't in the best of conditions, but it's 1784.
  11. Wow. You've either got some fantastic luck, or the right contacts. Sometimes, there isn't much of a difference between the two. A fantastic collection no doubt. And now I understand why Scottishmoney is so fascinated with women on banknotes. Those Banc Eireannais are lovely! Foreign things are always so much more interesting than our own currency, simply because we see and use it everyday. The older American coins and notes in this thread are beautiful as well, but when I find them they're usually well outside my price range. I've enjoyed browsing this thread immensely. Thank you so much for sharing.
