  1. I love Indian Head Pennies too. I have an 1885 one next to a 1880 Morgan dollar in 2x2s, and for some reason the IHC feels older because you can see the history.
  2. I can't see them either, did you create and 'destroy' an account or just use someone who hasn't been on for ages?
  3. Phew! Thanks everyone! I was worried for a bit!
  4. Why does it say '0 warning comments' next to my name but on no one else's? Did I do something wrong?
  5. Funny, I got one of those a few days ago. I didn't enter it because it looked like a website with loads of pop-ups.
  6. Today was ok. I went through 11 penny rolls, only 1942 and 1948 wheats. Only one Canadian cent. I filled in a few slots in my nickel folder with a roll of nickels, and found my first New Mexico National Park quarter in one roll. But my best finding, I went through two dimes rolls and I got a silver 1963! That’s my second silver dime, 1948 and 1964. By the way, I have searched only about 110 dimes.
  7. Hey everyone! I was wondering what draws you to a coin. For me, I like to be able to see the history and how it has changed hands. So I prefer something like these (These are my coins by the way) over proof coins or something. (I was trying to post a picture but it was 'too big to upload'. ) What about you? What attracts you in a coin?
  8. Wow, that's really quite amazing. What is the most valuable one?
  9. 1937, 1945, 1950, 1955 pennies today And my first 2009 D nickel
  10. I got 1937, 45, 50, 55 from 10 penny rolls today
  11. Do you have a picture? I was surprised that mine managed to fit in the roll
  12. Was this run over by a train or what? http://www.cointalk....73/#post1706003 Sorry for the link, I can't get my uploads to work.
  13. I found a 1957 quarter. That's it. First and only time I've looked. And it was uncirculated. A small victory for Bambooski
  14. I just found a 1957 quarter on the ground today
  15. Today was fantastic. I went through 11 penny rolls and this is what I got: 1944, 1949, 1956, 1959, a lot of uncirculated ones from 1960 onwards, 3 Canadian pennies, a really weird possible error coin which I will post later (it was so deformed I don't even know how it fit in the roll!) plus I found a 1957 quarter on the ground next to a CoinStar, and a random quarter on the ground I save up all the money I find on the ground, I started a few weeks ago and I am at 1.44
  16. I got a 1942 penny the other day in my pocket
