Hmm okay so the hatchet is a tomahawk and the thing that looks like a pipe turned out to be a peace pipe (calumet de la paix), I wasn't too far off...

Just love the reverse design with the bare trees in front of the building and are we viewing this from across a river?

It has been very artistically rendered, and the toning at top makes it look like a stormy sky with rain starting to come down..
