Got an NGC submission back yesterday. An 1839 no drapery Seated Half came back a VF-35. Was hoping for XF-40 but in fairness to NGC, I think they got the grade just right.

These arrived yesterday from Heritage. Two additions for my US type set. A 1937 Proof-67 Buff and an 1867 Proof-65 Cameo 50¢.

I have a 1962 50 Lire and a 1974 100 Lire from Vatican City. Both are uncirculated. PM me if you are interested in these coins.

Got the 3 2005 Silver Proof Sets I ordered, but one is going back because the slab is cracked. Oh, and this 50¢ piece made a big dent in completing my US type set:

With 1.5 million made, I'll bet there's more than 12 examples out there.

We probably just missed each other - I was there from around 11-12. The next show I know of is the NY International Numismatic Convention. Its usually held in January but the 2006 dates have not been posted yet. Below is a link to the website from the 2005 show. Its mostly world coins though. I also went to the NY Invitational on Friday. I wonder if we were there at the same time. Anyway, the Brasher Doubloon was just sweet and there was tons of other high end stuff to drool over. The show was a block away from my office and, although I would have liked to spend the day there, I was only able to get an hour's worth of coin viewing pleasure. I left the floor empty-handed. All was not lost though.... I did win 3 lots at the Heritage auction.
