tabbs
This summer the Money Museum in Vienna shows an exhibition called "Geprägt für Europa" (Minted for Europe), a "genesis" of the euro coin designs. Cannot say much about the exhibition since it won't be open until Tuesday but it sounds interesting. The Money Museum displays many designs that took part in the euro design competition but were not selected by the jury ... tabbs
Yes, so far I have only seen very few of those euro coin designs. But I will try and find out whether this is a "local" exhibition, or one that tours Europe (like the bank note design exhibition a few years ago). Vienna is a very nice place but almost 1000 km away ... (Edit: Seems that this is basically the same "coin designs show" that has accompanied the notes exhibition before. Now it apparently is a separate show, and displays more designs. Hmm.) Christian
