paskman Posted April 21, 2006 Report Share Posted April 21, 2006 Hello, Quite new to this. I have a dime which seems to have a date of 1965 and then the number 6 restamped over the 5. I am assuming you are talking about re-engraved dates, but I don't think that is common in recent world coinages, although I don't know about the case in Canadian coins.
