jb1967
Have you ever washed a banknote? Sometimes, I do, when I get a not so used banknote with some dirt or a stain on it. I use lukewarm water and after the note is completely wet (a few seconds) I add a few drops of soft soap and gently rub the surface with my hand. To avoid a negative effect of the soap I rince a lot and I let the note in water for a few minutes. Any better idea ? Jacques
gxseries
I personally wouldn't wash it unless it's terribly soiled. The only banknotes that you can wash safely... (that is if you avoid harsh chemcials) are polymer notes...
