jlueke
Above the horse it looks like a character then sigma. Below the Horse it appears to me to read (L?)SA(I?)?N This was another uncleaned coin, but I don't think the details are going to get too much clearer. Scottishmoney
I am stumped between a possible Punic, Carthaginian, or Thesallian coin. I do see one S in Greek on the top of the reverse, and another with an A next to it with an N at the end of the legend.
jlueke
Someone on Forum came up with Thessallian League. There's a W in that legend that is hard to see.
Ian
Taking the legends out of the equation for the momnet, the coin looks remarkably similar to the silver coinage of Thurium. My knowledge does not extend to Ae coinage, and the legends most likely blow my thoughts out the window anyway.

That's one thing that makes the ID harder
