Dads Stuff
I have these little silver bars I am trying to photo. My problem is that on side is so shiny that I can see the camera in the coin. Does not make a very pretty picture. How can I fix this? Thanks Linda
spike
You might try diffusing the light source by putting a something like a white sheet over it.
Burks
You could try placing the bar at an angle. I know on coins with a lot of shine that helps with the scan.
Conder101
Another possiblity is to take a sheet of cardboard or paper , put a hole in it and shoot the picture through the hole. That removes the reflection of the camera from the image. And as Burks say shooting at a slight angle will work wonders. Not more than about five degrees though of the image starts to become distorted.
