hiho
Back when I had the time to go to coin and paper money shows I always brought my own spreadsheets detailing what I owned and what I was looking for. This method worked well and I not only avoided buying too many duplicates but also discovered a few real finds. I recall one show where I found a Dutch note from 1955 that I knew I didn't have and had never seen before. I paid $40 for it and sold it years later for $500. Walk in with a Redbook and some dealers will roll their eyes. Walk in with a spreadsheet and they will wonder what you are up to. Always keep them guessing...
