Unidentified Ancient Coin

Good morning coin people,

I would be very grateful if any members would be able to point me in the right direction for researching an ancient coin.

I'm sure that the vast knowledge in this forum will be able to point me in the right direction.

The coin is in reasonable grade with some lettering, and it looks like a king with a cross or dagger in hand and some lettering.

As they say, "A picture paints a 1,000 words"

Thank you in anticipation,

John Hodd in Hastings E. Sussex

Please reply to my main email address john.hodd@btinternet

Many thanks and best wishes to all.....

Phocas, AE Half follis. Carthage. DN FOCAS PERP AVG, crowned and mantled bust facing, holding mappa and cross on globe / Large X-dot-X, (or X over dot-dot X over dot) star to left, cross above, epsilon to right; mintmark KRTG. SB 686, DOC 116.

Source (just scrol down to SB 686)

I think it's that one.
