I am assuming you are not a collector and are merely trying to unload the coin. One thing I have invested in as a safeguard of sorts for buying these larger silver coins and gold coins is a coin scale. You still need to be careful for the gold coins but for the more common larger silver coins it is a good safeguard as these coins are usually not worth the time and trouble of faking them. As for a value, you should see what similar coins have sold for on ebay (not what they are asking). That is usually a good indicator of the value. I'm a coin collector, but when i bought this coin, i wasn't sure about if the coin fake or original. I needed your opinions in order to be sure that i made a right decision when i bought it.
