LuboWalker
And what about this one. They try to sell it to me for something like 100$ but I think its too much for coin with a hole? What do you think?
kopeikin
$100 is way too much for remnants of a coin with a hole in it. It is worth the cost of metal plus a little bit as much as you want to give. I would say may be 10 bucks is a price for it?
LuboWalker
Hs argument was that this year is hard to find, Deserve little bit more. Okay, somebody else opinion. If I take it I will resell it anyway.
BKB
If you can buy it for 100 and re-sell it for a profit, you deserve an award of some sort...

kopeikin
can I offer you a piece of advice? Do not buy this holed junk at all. Neither buy that 1834 rouble you have another post on. These coins are a shame to have and it will be a shame selling them. .
LuboWalker
1834 ruble I already have it and its for sale. But this one - okay I agree.

LuboWalker
Is this ritorical question?
alexbq2
No, I'm not aware of any rare varieties for the 1823 rouble. Please state a reference number to a recognized catalog with the author's Rarity estimate.
LuboWalker
Well I saw the prices in eBay, seems to be expensive coin anyway?

Common holed roubles of this type ("wings up") and condition (Fine~Very Fine) are being sold at 800-1000 roubles in Russia now (equivalent of $23-$28). Only dates of this type which are hard to find are 1810 (rare) and 1826 (scarce). 1821, 1825 and 1820 are "better dates".

It was said above that "this year is hard to find". So I talked about dates, not mintmasters or other varieties. Besides, 1825ПД is not of course rare or scarce - but surely is a "better date".
