Jazinta
I'll try and put the coins that I find, buy, gifts etc in here, and on occasion a few other things as well.
Jazinta
A 1939 Canadian dollar. The pictures don't do justice but it's really nice, it has some original luster, a nice patina but sadly some idiot's pawprints on the reverse. Jazinta
10 Stotinki 1888. It's in terrible shape but I like that you can see the age on it.

Jazinta
Don't see the large sized coins for spoons often, that's for sure! It's artisanal and from the south of Colombia (maybe Ecuador).

ccg
So have you seen coin spoons? Where? I not nothing about those but I would like to. Like many cross-hobby collectibles, they tend to get caught in no-man's land and most collectors are of them are usually from the spoon collecting side rather than the coin side, since most coin collectors generally ignore them. If you come to collect them (and finding them is always fun), you find that most usually have the bowl made from a 10c or 20c sized piece. Pieces from after the 1950s are seldom seen, as are pieces with silver dollar / equivalent bowls.
