I heard someone say this after I had already purchased one of each Now it happens that I have two of each, and a bunch of Roman and Greek coins to go with them. The owl is beautiful, comes from Athens the birthplace of philosopphy and democracy, and represents the spread of coinage throughout the Greek world. Alexander conquered Persia and those conquests monetized Persia, Babylon, and Egypt, the older kingdoms that had resisted the modern invention of coinage.
