veldpond1902 Posted February 11, 2012 Report Share Posted February 11, 2012 Here is one that sold at the long beach Auction for $13000 in 2011 I have done a bit of research and all the Fakes just don't have that fine details that the real ones have, Aspecially Alexander Hair and Face. If this is a fake they had to if had the Original Die. Your coin seems to have proof features a bit of obverse Hairlines but overall a very nice and RARE coin http://goldbergcoins.auctionserver.net/view-auctions/catalog/id/11/lot/27252/ My conclusion it is Authentic.
