Yes, eBay is a great resource, especially for comparing prices. But an answer to your question really depends on what you’re looking for. I have a LOT of sites that I reference (both eBay and others), way too many for me to list here. Do a search on Google for dealers in banknotes, paper money and currency, to get a good listing. If you’re looking for general notes of a lower value, then you should check out these two sites:

http://www.e-worldbanknotes.com/country.html

http://www.educationalcoin.com/ecBanknotes.cfm

They are well known and trusted world banknote dealers, and are a good resource to have.

Some sites list a lot of links, and they are okay, but many of the links are now bad. Try http://www.dmoz.org/Recreation/Collecting/Paper_Money/

And

http://webhome.idirect.com/~mjp/mjpwww.html (scroll down 1/3 do the dealers section.

And

http://aes.iupui.edu/rwise/links.html

Use this link to check on eBay ID”s: http://toolhaus.org/ Then try them out and see how you like them. I’ve generally had very good luck with the stores. I find that I almost never bid on anything anymore, because of the hassle and also I can usually find as cheap a price through the eBay stores.

Just get lots of reference sites. Even when I find what I think is a good deal, I will compare other sites before I make the purchase.

Good luck! :)
