Capnbidwell
Has anyone ever seen a 1936 JOP? Apparently a Jeweler in Nelson, BC used to stamp it on their silver dollars. Anybody knows if it has any value?
ccg
I'm not sure what they go for but there defiantely are peope out there who collect them. There was a recent article in CCN recently on them about someone having a full set of JOP countermarked dollars, incl. 1948.

More
One of those sold in Regina about a month ago for $1200.00, it was a rare angled JOP dollar 1935 & there are no periods present between the letterss & it is stamped on an angle where it hit the middle of the canoe...it was sold by George Manza, who you've linked to.
