Scottishmoney
I looked at the Gold Quest sight and could not find the Khomeini coin. I guess they hide it.
Guest Stujoe
At first, I thought the story was a spoof but I was able to find a picture of the advert elsewhere too. http://www.bizal.biz/goldquest/catalogue/flyer_khomeini.jpg Updated to say I found the goldquest page in the google cache but it doesn't display when you try to go to the page on the goldquest site... http://64.233.161.104/search?q=cache:Xjbnb...+khomeini&hl=en
Scottishmoney
This coin was issued by some authority or another in Somalia, if there is any authority there. Maybe it is issued by someone pretending to be the authority there. Maybe this is the Iranian equivalent of the Marshall Islands commemoratives? akdrv
Iran - Protest against 'Gold Quest' Launched by Iranians This article is a bit misleading since it comes from "Iran" and "Iranians" located at: P.O.Box 111, 1351 West wood Blvd., Los Angeles, CA. 90024
Guest Stujoe
We are a melting pot or a pot of soup or something like that. I figured it wasn't actually coming out from Iran. That might be a little dangerous to their health.
UncleBobo
Even though he is here and not in Iran, you gotta admit that dude has a lot of stones to start a protest like that. Mr. Farahanipour I salute you.
