hiatus67
I've found a romanian coin with female nudity but it is just a essay, never circulated
ccg
Neat! Do you know what the story is?
Sir Sisu
Nice coin. I second ccg's comment. I'd be specifically interested in the story behind the imagery. It has elements that reminds me of the FRG's 50 pfennig.
hiatus67
This coin essay, "Woman at Source", is present under the number 116 in the Schäffer-Stambuliu, the first complete catalogue for Romanian coins. On the coin is present the monogram HF, that certifies the realization of this probe in Switzerland, at Huguenin Frères & Co., in the little village Le Locle, near the border with France.
