Hi guys ;) ,

What do you think about this piece (12 Roubles Platin, claimed as genuine):

I personally don't like it, especially the eagle side. BTW, this seller has a very bad reputation as seller of fakes (in Russian: fuflogon). Several years ago, I have already sent back to him poltina 1810 which was a casting counterfeit.

Interestingly, this offer was ended just shortly after start, also 2 Roubles 1756 in Gold:

Do you see his expertise? - hand-written, lousy piece of paper issued by a fully unknown person :ninja:

Merry X-mas!

Probably the seller did a large mistake in not posting large pictures. For something like that expensive, I expect at least higher resolution pictures or else I'm not going to bother. Indeed the eagle looks unusually wrong but I can't pinpoint what it is.

Am I wrong to say that the color doesn't really look "platinum" but it could be just platinum plated?

Indeed, that paper is useless unless it's by some major certified company.

Both coins do not have true characterstic mint luster.

Privet! ;-)

I simply don't like its eye appeal.

Looks like "contemporary medal".

Why bothering about the coin from the seller with shaky reputation? ;)

Merry X-mass!
