gxseries
lol, I found this pretty funny. Auction link Who knows how old those holed coins are, or how valuable they are. Usually they aren't THAT expensive, but you will never know if one out of there are...
sch3258
BOTH SWORDS MEASURE IN HEIGHT 29 INCHES LONG AND ARE STRUNG TOGETHER WITH A HEAVY METAL AND RED SOME KIND OF TWINE.. THESE WILL PROBABLY NEVER BE SEEN AGAIN, VERY VERY OLD COINS, SEE ALL PICTURES, VERY HEAVY WITH BOTTOM COINS TO SWING AT OPPOSING ENEMY SEE ALL PICTURES, APP 200 YEARS OLD... VERY HEAVY I was going to flippantly say if he were near me I would be interested... but it turns out that he is near me. But I do wonder why he thinks these were used in combat and how he arrived at an age of 200 years? And what is a 'primitave' coin?
gxseries
I'm assuming that those coins are those chinese bronze coins, afterall they are the cheapest ever. I cannot imagine such item made out of expensive holed coins... An example is like this: http://www.joelscoins.com/china.htm And obviously you get chinese coins a lot cheaper than what's offered there. ccg
If those are made of actual coins, and not counterfeits (those swords look to have been made quite recently), $40-50 apiece as a conversation piece is not unreasonable.
