DawsonsLV
I give up! HELP! Need to identify this coin. There's opinion that it is Celtiberian Obulen dated 1stC.BC. I have doubts about this. Desc: Both sides have beads around image. Diam. about 20 mm (0.78in) Obv. Head with trace of laureate (?) Rev. Animal, I suppose it's horse. Below there's trace of inscription. Above something like semicircle. I can provide better images by e-mail Thx in advance!
josemartins
It's a "semis" from Castulo, look up references Burgos 560 and 561 at the wildwinds link below: http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/greece/spain/castulo/i.html Jose
