I got my first East Caribbean States quarter of 2002 out of circulation today. Really nifty boat on the back of it, it was mixed in with the normal US quarters in my till. Au/Unc, nice coin.

Yeah I went to my dealer today, and remembered it was in my wallet, he said it looks like someone restamped a 3 where a 8 once was. He also said the only made series 1935 and didnt make anything else until series 1957...both silver certificates. Interesting though...it'll be spent shortly, maybe someone here will find it lol.

2x 1968-S Jeffs and a what looked like a 1938 one dollar bill at the time but I can't find a listing for that series existing so I think it may be a worn 1988 lol...I'll have to look at that one a lil closer.

Is that ms-66 or better? It looks absolutely gorgeous. Nice hauls guys. I got 4 nice foreign coins from Tiffibunny, will post pics shortly! My dad gave me an old box of coins for my B-day. An 1831 Bust half AU w/2 letters cut into obv. a handful of colonial-era coins (all rough except a 1654 farthing) he found while looking for Native American Artifacts in my area, a few old Japanese peso bills, and 10 buffalo nickels, 2 indian head cents, a flying eagle cent, and an 1818 large cent, all ground recovery coins. I don't him often, but when I do he always seems to give me stuff lol. My dads a nice guy, too bad we don't get to hangout more, meh. Will also post pics soon.

Ooof, yeah I don't think I wanna spend 200-800 on them lol. I was looking for moderately priced liberty capped silver, around 20-30 dollars and old mexican coppers like the one below, hand hammered copper is nifty!

Did that guy happen to have any old mexican coppers from the 1830's-1840's? Or any of the old mexican style silvers? (liberty capped obverse) It's hard to find that kinda stuff around here at a reasonable price anymore.

I got a few indian heads...they are kinda rough though. 1859 (ag/g) 2x 1894(g) 1881 (g, old cleaning) 1899 (g) I don't need much for them, so if you want them, lemme know. I prefer trades if possible, neat foreign stuff, or whatever. PM if interested.

Good week for coin finds!

I've been blessed by the silver gods I think lol! Last night at work (grocery store) I was getting quarter rolls for the registers and I noticed a silver quarter in the one. (These are the plastic "coin condoms" not the paper wrappers) Anyway all said and done in about 12 rolls I got 5.25 face value 43-64 silver quarters, 4 buffalo nickels, 4 war jeffys, and 10 40's-64 jeffys! I would say that is pretty good for one night wouldn't you?!

I got a 66 67 and 2 68 Unc kennedy halves last night at work, and a 51-D rosey (F-VF). Good haul for one day haha.
