$120 for a Canadian 1956 PL set. Lost $15 selling it (needed money), though it jumped in value to about $200-250 about six months after I sold it...

Keep the present paper denominations, just don't print as many. {Was that sound the sound of the various BEP Unions flipping out?}
That's my thought. Until the switch to the Euro, Germany did pretty well by having mainly a 5DM coin circulating, but also with a 5DM note in circulation, but in much smaller numbers.

I think this the first time I'll abstain on a note vote. I like both too much on different aspects.

Depending on area, some banks constantly have an excess of coins, and therefore never need to get any. (and ship them out, so quite the reverse)

My understanding is that you can usually tell the later issues as the dies got rusty. Is that correct?

Not a coin but I'm sure you will enjoy it.
At work I was counting the money and noticed an odd bill. Sure enough, $10 star note! I know it isn't worth much but it has been 6 years since I ran across a star note in circulation. Needless to say I replaced it with a normal $10 bill and it is now mine (boss didn't care).
I've got 2 star notes in the past year, and I don't even live in the US!

Lol, while at work, my friend had to break open a roll of dimes, and when he did, he said like 10 pennies came out of it. He exchanged some of his money for some and he brought some of them home to show me. Someone had filed down the penny so that it was the size of a dime. I just laughed.
How about getting a job which pays better than 19c for such a time-consuming task!

BTW, I always found the "22nd and 24th" president thing to be stupid.

What the...

Well, funny, not interesting.

I've seen em in KM, but first actual pics I've seen. I consider them to be quite amusing.

On a serious note, I would like to buy a CP note or two when they become available.
What kind of "serious note"?

Nice. I remember how cool it was time when I saw a group of UNC monogrammed 1 and 5 p.

What's with the CP 100?
-
Yes because you know and because the coin is not in motion
But be assured in ones hand and kept in motion it is invisible
Definately.

Ah, I can see where it "popped" in.

Sacs are clad as well, with a copper band in the middle.

If those are made of actual coins, and not counterfeits (those swords look to have been made quite recently), $40-50 apiece as a conversation piece is not unreasonable.
