Nice. What's the lapel pin made of?
-
Very nice medal. Best of luck with this area of your collection. Keep us updated on your progress.

1976 Turks and Caicos Islands 20 crown Queen Victoria proof (600 grains of sterling silver, 1.16oz asw). I had seen the coins before but had no idea that they were actually minted at the Royal Canadian Mint. I also didn't realize that (some of?) the coins came with these little books about Queen Victoria's life.
Very nice Matt. I hadn't seen this before. It is a very nice way to "display" this nice piece.

Nice half Jeff.
-
Very nice Clive. Is there a significance to the guilding? Only certain people had it done? Or indicated rank? Or?

I could pretend that I was noble and voted for the most beautiful coin instead of MY coin. But I won't and I didn't.

Nice flock. This is a cool set.
I'm certainly with Dave on that one.
-
Nice note. I like the birds and the way they used the watermark area in the design.

The coin counter at my bank has an internal capture slot for rejects. The tellers set the machine for use and when it's done they open the door and extract the rejects and give them to the person. Only when they're done with this do they close the machine door and it prints out a credit slip. So no pickins there.

This little beauty came into my collection as part of a trade I made years ago with Syl. It's the only gold coin in my collection and a design that I truly enjoy

Wonderful find. I'm truly jealous.

That's a beautiful note. The heart-shaped watermark area is outstanding...

Congrats on the new baby. They're much prettier than banknotes and a lot more fun too.

Good catch Dave. This thread has been languishing. I like the Columbus notes.
-
Nice gold coin. I like the design a lot.
-
Neat notes Dave. Are they as large as the images make them appear?
-
Nice half.
-
Nice notes and so close to Columbus Day too. Maybe we should have a Let's Celebrate Columbus thread.
-
Nice notes.

I'm so envious of these great CoinStar finds. Our coinstar machines produce nothing. I'm guessing that someone has a regular route of searching them or some such thing.

More great stuff Bill. Were the short and tall stacks carried around in the pocket to hold coins or were they for use at home or office on the desk and such?
-
Another interesting collection theme Bill. I like the logo they used. I especially like the pin. It looks to be in perfect condition.
-
Beautiful Bill and congratulations on your medal.

Great finds. You must have an old coin wizard watching over you.
