  1. This year is very common eventhough in F, scarcer in XF-UNC condition. The 2 kopeks 1867 EM/SPB, 1868 SPB, 1869 SPB, 1870SPB, 1871 EM/SPB, 1876EM and 1892 SPB are much scarcer, some are almost impossible to find.

  3. Do you think I shouldn't pay 300$ for it ? If it's a copy, has somebody already saw such a nice copy of this coin ?
  4. I don't have other pictures. I didn't get it yet.
  5. Yes, it's possible. The patina doesn't look natural to me... But there are decent details, I would grade it VF.
  6. Thank you ! I've suprizingly won this coin for 310$. I think it's a good deal for bitkin's "R" coin. I remember few years ago in russia the same condition coin was priced over 1000$. Somebody else ?
  7. I would like to know your opinion about the authenticity of the coin. Do you like the patina ?

  14. First time I see this kind of fake with right portrait type ! However the edge still as poor as on other chinese roubles. Looks like the edge was copied from a 1913 50 kopek with smaller lettering. Also you can see a obverse defect at 6 o'clock. With 6 hours left the bids are up to $102... Link Seller mur3ik guarantees the authenticity. "Questions and answers about this item Q: Weight and diameter of the coin please? A: 34 mm, 19.86 gram. Dec 13, 2010 Q: please confirm this is NOT a replica coin but a genuine original THanks John D A: Yes, authenticity guarantee
  15. Added red lines to help you see ! Do you see something ? Is it a small 5 ?
  16. Hi All, I've just received this 1844КБ Rouble and I've noticed the edge is missing dots after words СЕР and ЗОЛ. The big dot is there. First I thought it may be a good copy. Then I checked my other similar roubles and find out: 1833НГ Rouble - Both dots. 1834НГ Rouble - Only 1 dot after СЕР. 1840НГ Rouble - Both dots. 1841НГ Rouble - No dots. 1842АЧ Rouble - Only 1 dot after ЗОЛ. 1844MW Rouble - Both dots. 1845КБ Rouble - Both dots. 1846ПА Rouble - Both dots. Do you think is it a pattern or just a chance ? Could you check your roubles for dots ?
  17. I'll try to take better pictures of it but it will be hard to get something better. My new Canon camera doesn't have digital macro
  18. Hi All, I found this 1904AP 10 kopeks in my collection with a "fat" 4. Do you think is a overdate, missed strike or mechanical damage? Have anybody seen this before ? There's also some kind of point after "4".
  19. There's a lot of 1, 2, 3 and 20 kopeks of 1902 on molotok.ru ! 1 kopek - 11 2 kopek - 9 3 kopek - 5 20 kopeks - 10 PS: 1 kopek 1907 - 6
  20. Hello everyone ! I'm looking right now at Bitkin catalog of 2003, Volume II. I'm very surprised to see copper coins from 1895 & 1902-1914 (First type), 1899-1901 (Second type) and 1896-1898 (third type) in three distinctive categories. Does anyone knows what's the difference between each other ? All three types have same weight, diameter et edge type. Also, I'm surprised to see 1902 kopek as R (rare) while its mintage estimated at 20,000,000 and 1902 20 kopeks also as R. Do you think is it really rare ?
  21. Nice coins Both are very rare and expensive.
  22. Yes, the wear is unequal but I think this type of wear is common on the tablet if I'm not mistaken, because of the strike weakness. Same type of wear is seen on Alexander I 1802-1809 roubles. Anyways, is there any known copies of the 1801 Rouble ? I saw a real ugly one from 1798 on eBay lately, not even needed to enlarge the picture
