The high bid is $1.00 +$1.00 s/h for this note, which catalogues at $175.00 in a pretty outdated Krause in UNC.
Uh, Oh... The cat is out of the bag.... $1.25!

LOL @ MMD... Just assume I won MMD and all will be well....
...hmmm... Tran may not go for that...
He is right though it is not Italian... But it does look like it has some Grease spots.... Italians are greasy (please no one take offene to that, I am italian and I have a greesy forehead, it is a stereotype becasue it is true) so I must bid!
Ill make it 3 washers!

My 'pretty coin' is this 1979-S SBA. only because it is the first Proof I have come to own.
Im glad the SBA came up, I like it though some refer to it as the ugliest coin in US history... even when it is all shiny and new.
What happened to that little lady?

Not sure if they are the cheapest, but they are very good to buy from, no problems.
I recomend Brent-Krueger.com.... So much other stuff than flips... but to comment on the flips, never had a problem with them.

-
ok, no asking for scans either

Thats a Buffalo head with a wheat reverse. Maybe this is the Buffalo Cent that Blackhawk speaks of
It is quite interesting. Very thin.

I picked up a "steel" cent from the coin shop that has a copper (?) rim.
the front and back look just like a normal steel cent but the edge is copper collored similar to a bimetalic.
Looking at it from the side you wouldnt guess it was a steel cent.
Please refrain from "Pic please" and "a pic would help" replies becasue I am at work and plan on scanning the thing when I get home today.
Just looking for thoughts on what this may be? is it worth a lot? anyone want to buy it for $1,000+?
-Bobby
