jtryka
So I was perusing the Coin World after reading about Shane's exploits in Kennedy halves in Bill's column, and I happen upon an ad that had a nice list of double eagles. They had one listed that I needed and the price seemed reasonable, so I decided to check out their website (after all, the company's name was their website and the ad included an admonition to view the hi-res photos on the site). So I got to the site and it was crap! There was no inventory listed at all, let alone photos, pricing or availability. I looked in their terms, etc. to see their payment policy, again pretty much what was listed in the CW ad. So if you are me, do you think they will be getting any of my business anytime soon? And this was not a cheap coin by any stretch, but if you are in the coin business, selling coins with 4 and 5 digit prices, why don't you spend a few hundred bucks on a website that works and has info. The crap on that site would make me leery of spending $10 let alone $10K!
kryptonitecomics
Yes.....it would seem like the business generated would more than justify the cost but some folks are either too cheap or too lazy to just hire someone to help them out. Why would you buy a coin without getting to see an image?
