drwstr123
Hi Matt, Welcome... I think it's best to say what camera you're using. No sense in suggesting something that's not appropriate. Mike

coin_interest
Camera? I am using a scanner. I have experience in photomicrography (asbestos Fibers), but I can't incurr the cost of a scope and camera, unless someone has any ideas (something cheap) Thanks steve
drwstr123
Steve, There are several inexpensive cameras that do great pics. High price doesn't mean good pics. I find cameras are more versatile than scans; try this link and comment: LINKY-POO Mike
Becky
I use a toy microscope, a QX3+. It hooks up to your computer and takes nice pictures.

coin_interest
Mike and everyone else, Thank you all very much for helping out a beginner. I found a 1998 wide AM and a 1990 dbl-die-I think (all lincoln cents). That raises another question: The penny has the most die errors than any other coin (that I can see), why is that? I look in my redbook under 5, 10, 25, etc and discover there are very little in the way of "bona-fide" collectible errors. Again I want to thank everyone for the replies and help. This is a good website! I am going to post some pix if I can, please comment.
