Scottishmoney
I would like to have a nice Larissa AE, they are quite a bit scarcer in dealers collections though than the silver. Kind of like Attic Athens. My son and I did one of these little clean and ID projects last year and determined that our little Constantine bronze was from Heraklea. Might have to do this with a VCoins lot sometime again.
mmarotta
Of course, at the ANA Conventions, you find these bargain boxes of uncleaned ancients at tables in the ancients aisle. You also find them -- often from the same dealers -- at regional shows. I am pretty sure that Donald Zauche is a regular at the MSNS shows and brings a box of uncleaned Romans. (They also market candy and fruit -- pretty hot items about two days into a show...)
