akdrv
German Church and City Talers book by John Davenport. Lots of illustrations. 349pp. The picture is borrowed, but this book is in the same excellent shape. It was sold to me as signed by Davenport, but I can't guarantee that the signature is authentic. US $25 delivered.

bustchaser
What, no city view thaler as a starter to go along with the book? In actual fact, Akdrv did include three nice coins along with the book--none of which I can identify!!! (I really need to replace my Krouse). This, in addition to the fact that he didn't charge any postage or handling on a package which cost half the purchase price merely to mail!!!! I will give him his feedback in the proper thread, but I wanted to post here also as I suspect there are many who don't follow the feedback threads. (I know there is at least one person anyway.) akdrv
Jim, I'm happy you got the book. Did you see the Davenport's inscription. I wonder if there is any way to authenticate it.
bustchaser
Yes, I saw it. Looks real enough, but never having seen his signature who is to say? The only ways to authenticate would be either to compare to a known good autograph or to ask Mr. Davenport would be my guess.
