mmmnsmith
I recently came across a George II. coin in an envelope of unidentified coins. It looks similar to others I have seen on line, except it shows George II facing left. All the others I've seen show the left profile. It also seems to say "Iohann" on the back. Looks to be about 80 mm

RonH
I believe it's not a coin, and it's definitely not George II. I think what you have is a coin weight, probably made in England, for a Portuguese gold coin of João V (John in English, Iohannes in Latin but sometimes shown without the H). Check out http://coinquest.com/cgi-bin/cq/coins?main_coin=15790 and tell me if I'm wrong!
