alexbq2
A new catalog on pre-Glinskaya reform (that's the reform that unified Russian monetary system across the entire country) Russian wire coinage has been published. It covers coins minted across all Russian Princedoms from 1353-1533. The catalog is huge, over 500 pages and has over a 1000 color images of coins with rarity rankings. I haven't seen the book myself, but there is a description here: http://www.reviewdetector.ru/index.php?showtopic=561098&pid=6314672&st=0&&do=findComment&comment=6314672 I got in touch with one of the authors, and purchased a book from him. He asked if I know anyone else who is interested. I paid $120 for the book plus $20 for S/H. I think they offer a discount if more than 5 books are sold. If anyone is interested let me know, I can help with a purchase.

bobh
Thanks, alexbq2, for this information! I'm sure it will be very useful to people who collect wire money. I would buy a catalogue, but unfortunately I don't collect these.
