Simon68
Hi, I am Simon from the UK, Purchased some tokens yesterday and in amongst them was this coin. I don't think its a British hammered coin. Can anyone help to identify it please? It appears to have a king standing upright, facing left with a sword in his hand and a crown on his head. YeOldeCollector
It's an Anglo-Gallic issue. Most likely Henry IV, Hardi d'Argent. Much like these.
Simon68
Hi ''YeOldeCollector'' Thanks for that info. What do you think its worth as I was going to put it onto eBay
YeOldeCollector
In that condition and, unfortunately, pierced not a great deal. This one in far better condition sold for £50 so maybe about £25-£30 but on a good day maybe much more.
