luke_idk
Hallo! I owe a little medal that portraits a 5 marks Hindnburg coin (mint sign D). Does anybody knows what it is? A medal so similar ti a coin's quite strange to me. A token? I don't think so. I'm quite sure it's not a modern copy, since it would sound very strange, due to its simobology. Weight: 1 gram Diametr: 16 mm Magnetic Thanks in advance. Luca
constanius
http://www.muenzaukt...ang=en&curr=EUR It is a coin, though a commemorative one, I guess you could think of it as a coin/commemorative medal hybrid. http://www.worldofcoins.eu/forum/index.php?topic=16319.
luke_idk
Yes I know the original 5 marks coin but, obviously, it's completely different in weight, diameter and metal
ccg
Perhaps a toy / miniature coin.
luke_idk
I also thought about a playcoin, but I've never seen one of that period and so similar to a real one .
