bill Posted April 2, 2012 Report Share Posted April 2, 2012 Got back today from the annual WESTS show for token collectors in the west held annually in Sacramento. Fred Holabird conducts a great auction. If you want to see tokens hammered down in the $5,000 to $10,000 range, its a real thrill to be present when it happens. I picked up a few treasures of my own which I will post in the next few weeks after I recover from cataract surgery. Doesn't take long, but it will knock me out of working on the collection for a few days. I'll still need my loupe when its done, but the horizon will be clear! The show itself is not very big, 15-20 dealers, but the selection is great, the company even better, and if you want to find gems and rarities, they abound in the stock on the floor and in the auction.
