ccg Posted December 13, 2011 Report Share Posted December 13, 2011 They're basically the British MPCs. Most UNCs came from a bunch of sales of reminder notes. British auction houses dealing in bulk such as Lockdales still have these sold in bulk. As such, several of the types (especially 4th series £1 and 6th series 50p, in my recollection) had a tendency to show up a lot in dealers "XXX different UNC world note" lots.
