smru
Hi all! My grandma gave me a coin. I identified it at Poltina 1798. And I have a question, is this original coin or fake?
Candidate
Though very worn, looks original to me. If so, even in this state costs probably up to $100. Advice: it would be respectful to others to show pics of your coin from front, both sides. It is not really convenient to judge it looking at such angles and through holder plastic... By the way: did your grandma gave you this coin in a holder?
smru
Candidate, thank you for the information and advice - this is my first photos of the coin, next will be better. And holder is my idea. Regards.
Steve D'Ippolito
It seems odd to me that someone would make a fake, holed. (Why not make the fake in somewhat better condition?) So it rings true to me. That's an _entirely_ unprofessional opinion and worth exactly what you paid for it.
Candidate
Don't see a plugged hole here... mount removed - maybe... better pictures needed.
gxseries
Probably worth more because it's a rather tough filler coin in ANY condition. Again, just because a coin is in a low grade and damaged doesn't mean that it's genuine.
