elverno
c. 1800 Whistmarke, Prussia 25mm A beautiful silver piece identified as by Loos (I believe the elder) and part of a set of whistmarkes. I suspect these were used like poker chips but am always willing to be educated. The date is a guess as well. Last guess: "Always with a lucky crowd". But my German skills are near non-existent. Arminius
A really nice one! "Always associated with good luck (or fortune?)" - i would translate from my German point of view. regards
