Rhino
I know these coronation roubles are going up in popularity and such but over $1000+ ??? Am I missing something? I feel like someone is overpaying by a factor of 2-3... wow. I've seen graded MS go for these kinds of prices, not a raw scratched up piece! http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?type=2&campid=5335826004&toolid=10001&customid=&ext=110609798138&item=250758456883
kopeikin
I would interpret this situation as follows: Russian coins are not going to get any cheaper.
Rhino
I would interpret this situation as follows: Russian coins are not going to get any cheaper. Wow, in this particular case that is a VERY drastic rise in a very short period of time...
altyn
A very steep increase - from $555 to $1000 - by a bid from a zero feedback user ...
altyn
Btw, there were not so many of them on ebay lately that were certified and worth looking at. A while ago a decent MS62 went for ~$1,700, and an AU58 for $
Rhino
A very steep increase - from $555 to $1000 - by a bid from a zero feedback user ... Weird... some shill bidding? Or maybe two bidders who really wanted this coin? The craziness is still there in the Russian coin market, evidently...

nicholasz219
One-kuna: That was my first thought as well! This is a CLEANED coin! I dunno, but something doesn't smell right. On a side note, apparently I will not be collecting major Russian pieces barring a lottery win or a rich uncle passing away.
